2nd GAD Local Learning Hub (GAD LLH) Assembly

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) certifies the Province of Bulacan as a Gender and Development Local Learning Hub from 2024-2027 for championing gender- responsive local governance through the establishment of GAD mechanisms, strengthening partnership with women’s organizations and mainstreaming gender perspective in programs addressing the needs of the marginalized groups. Provincial Administrator Antonette V. Constantino, representative from the Office of the Governor Daniel Ramirez Fernando, together with Program Implementers received the GAD LLH marker during the 2nd GAD Local Learning Hub Assembly held last April 17-19, 2024 at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay.

GAD Focal Point System conducts first meeting of the year

The GAD Focal Point System Execom and TWG joint meeting was held last March 19, 2024 at the Mariano Ponce Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center. Provincial Administrator Antonette V. Constantino, representative of GADFPS Chairperson Hon. Daniel R. Fernando, presided the meeting.

GAD Local Learning Hub: PCW Onsite Validation

The GAD LLH is a certification program for LGUs developed through the Local GAD Resource Program (LGRP). LGUs seeking to adapt GAD innovations can learn from the GAD LLHs and get inspiration on how to infuse GAD in local governance and public service. The certification aims to institutionalize the sharing and replication of local experiences and showcase GAD-related innovations to enable the LGUs initiate and strengthen their gender mainstreaming efforts. First Quarter Meeting of the GAD Focal Point System
