GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT FOCAL POINT SYSTEM TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP
3RD QUARTERLY MEETING, JULY 16, 2021

The 3rd Quarterly meeting of the GAD Focal Point System-Technical Working Group was successfully conducted, with almost 90% of the TWGs attended the meeting. The meeting started with a prayer, followed by acknowledging the participants led by Ms. Gladilyn Sillano and Ms. Ma. Camillah De Leon (Secretariat members).
After the preliminaries, Ms. Analiza Ileto, GFPS-TWG Chairperson, discussed some gender issues that Filipino Women have been confronted with and asked the participants about their comments and reactions on gender issues. The members of the TWGs have expressed their opinions and participated in the discussion. Next to the agenda was the presentation of the GAD Quarterly Accomplishment Reports as of the 2nd Quarter. Questions have been raised by Ms. Ileto on the accomplishments of PGB offices and hospitals and made an on-the-spot correction on some of the accomplishments presented. Ms. Ileto reminded the TWGs that the reports would be presented at the upcoming Executive committee Meeting on July 28, 2021.
